Upon questioning, Patrick Dowd revealed the following about his position on fracking: 1) he supports fracking; 2) he thinks the ban is an illegitimate and unenforceable law; 3) he thinks natural gas is a "bridge" fuel that is cleaner than coal; 4) he stated that Pittsburgh "can't say no" to fracking; 5) he would not vote for the ban if he could do it over.
There was a lot of other contradictory gibberish, but the punch line is that he needs to be put in his place with a relentless campaign. Ban Patrick Dowd.
For what fathomable reason would someone make it their personal mission to repeal a fracking ban ... unless they were being paid off by fracking companies? I just can't see it. It seems pretty obvious that he's having his pockets padded.
On Sept 27, Pittsburgh citizens confronted city councilman Patrick Dowd about his new legislation that will repeal the fracking ban. If you were not able to make it you can listen to what happened here. Listen to how much Patrick tries to confuse the discussion. We are talking about the future of our species here on this land, and we should be given transparency, instead of secondary points and distractions. His wallet is growing as Pittsburgh comes closer to being fracked by these transnational corporations, leaving our water undrinkable forever more. He sure liked talking about strip clubs, but that is not what we want to hear about. 12:45 - 18:00 really shows how things are. he is not equipped to talk about the issue. this is the sound of a voice that has been paid off.
Full audio from yesterday's chat with Dowd.

Thank you lored for picking up on the fact that a troll had invaded our midst. Recently a man spread corporate propaganda here in this forum. I banned his IP and email and do not expect him to return.
