I am propagating out some of this old style sweet corn raised in NW, it is unique in that it is all red husk/cob and seed, not extremely sweet by all the new hyped crossbred standards, but is nice. I also alternate years growing hooker's sweet corn that is black when mature, a small tillered plant, maybe 4 ft but early and prolific. so far just garden sized propagation and still rogueing out the off plants. but it is a new variety. I also am promoting my biodynamic preparations made on my farm with buffalo horn/manure instead of cow horn, also new innovation coming into the american agricultural scene.
