another great tomato from Native Seeds SEARCH is keeping me impressed. this plant is very young, and very big. i imagine it will grow to be much taller than me. the "texas wild" cherry tomato sprawled onto one of their fields years ago and true to its name has very wild attributes. i wonder how it will compare flavor-wise to matt's wild cherry. the blueish leaves are different from any other wild type i have seen, bigger than ciudad victoria and matt's, and hairier and bluer than any pimpinellifolium.

Yes, the foliage is somewhat untypical for wild tomatoes. Mine looks exactly the same, I am also growing it this year.

the deer loved the ones i planted out in wexford already. i have a second round to plant and i will choose a different location, fenced this time.
