I think most know me, but I am Tom. Home is just west of the Twin Cities in Minnesota on an island in the middle of Lake Minnetonka. I garden my entire yard (Phil can attest to that) as well as about another 2 acres at other locations. Our gardening emphasis is things that can be stored dry or without processing, such as corn, beans and squash, along with potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, greens, root crops and a variety of perennial fruits.

My name is john, but family call me Johno. I grow a little bit of everything, but concentrate on crops native to the Americas (corn, tomatoes, tobacco, etc.). I'm experimenting with various grains. I live on 2 acres in the woods (in the Ozarks), surrounded by hundreds of acres of family land.

Hi there, I'm John. I live in mid-Michigan about 5 miles inland from Saginaw Bay.
I garden in town, planting from the curb to my house and beyond. Containers next to the driveway, on my lawn and out at Mom's. Not always popular with the townsfolk. ;D
Tomatoes are my great passion and I grow way too many varieties and lines that I'm trying to stabilize. Lots of pepper experiments, too. The birds are moving Black Raspberries around the yard. I pick and freeze the fruit for wine.
And then there's the flowers, primarily in the 8'4" x 24' Hellstrip. Some herbs around the yard and a big clump of Cupplants out back that I started from seed. They started having babies last year. I think there are two or three Prairie Dock growing back there.
PS: Been playing guitar forever
